STEPHEN J. HORNYAK, P.L.C. a practicing attorney since 1964, has a general civil practice in historic,

downtown Gretna for over 40 years.

• He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1954. 

• He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 1959 and his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University in 1954.

• Steve is admitted to practice in all State Courts in Louisiana and Colorado and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

• He is active in the following professional organizations:  The Louisiana Bar Association and Jefferson Bar Association.

• He was past President of the Westbank Rotary Club and served as a member of The Boys Club of America and Board of Managers.

• He is currently a member of the American Legion Post 64.

• He has some reading and speaking knowledge of:  Spanish, Hungarian and German.
